This is a well-structured 8-day educational and cultural tour of Germany, covering Munich, Nuremberg, Berlin, and Frankfurt with a mix of historical landmarks, cultural experiences, and guided city tours. It includes visits to iconic sites like Neuschwanstein Castle, the Bundestag, the Berlin Wall Memorial, and Charlottenburg Palace, as well as immersive experiences such as a River Spree cruise and Bavarian cuisine at Hofbräuhaus.

Itinerary
On arrival at Frankfurt airport, meet your local Tour Manger then depart by coach to Bavaria in southern Germany. On the way, we stop to visit Ludwigsburg Palace near Stuttgart. We continue to Munich and check-in to our hotel for a stay of 3 nights.
Welcome Dinner at Hofbräuhaus, a traditional Bavarian beer hall with lively music and hearty food.
Overnight in Munich.
After breakfast, meet your local tour guide for a day exploring the capital of Bavaria. We will visit the heart of Munich at Marienplatz and watch the famous Glockenspiel performance in the New Town Hall, depicting historical events with life-sized figures.
After lunch (payable locally), we continue our city tour and head to Viktualienmarkt to experience Munich’s famous food market. Taste Bavarian delicacies like pretzels, cheese and sausages, while soaking in the local culture.
We return to our hotel by coach.
Dinner and overnight in Munich.
After breakfast, we meet our tour guide and depart by coach to the town of Füssen, in southern Bavaria. Here, hidden between the mountains and forests, we will discover the beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairy-tale castle built by King Ludwig II. Learn about the king’s mysterious life and vision for this impressive castle.
After lunch (payable locally), we will enjoy a short hike in the forests around the castle area for breathtaking views of the Bavarian Alps and the surrounding countryside.
Late afternoon, we return to our hotel by coach.
Dinner and overnight in Munich.
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and transfer by coach to the main railway station of Munich for the train to Nürnberg (e.g. depart Munich 09h09 arrive Nürnberg 10h19 – based on 2024 schedule and subject to change).
On arrival, we will meet our local guide for a tour of the city, starting with a visit of the Documentation Center and Nazi Party Rally Grounds. Gain insights into the rise of the Nazi Party with exhibits demonstrating the propaganda techniques and the massive rallies held here.
After lunch (payable locally), we continue our city tour with a visit of the Nuremberg Trials Memorial. We visit the Palace of Justice, the site of the Nuremberg Trials. Learn about the historical significance of these trials in prosecuting war criminals after WWII.
Late afternoon, we wander through Nuremberg’s charming Old Town and discover quaint market squares, half-timbered houses and historic bridges.
Dinner and overnight in Nürnberg.
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and transfer by coach to Nürnberg railway station for the high speed train to Berlin (e.g. depart Nürnberg 09h02 arrive Berlin 11h42 – based on 2024 schedule and subject to change).
On arrival, we will meet our local guide and depart by coach for a tour of the capital city of Germany. We start at the Bundestag and visit the German Parliament building, including the iconic glass dome designed by architect Norman Foster. Learn about Germany’s political system and the history of the former Reichstag.
After lunch (payable locally), we will visit the Jewish Museum to learn about the life and culture of Jews in Germany through its interactive exhibits and architecture. Then, we will reflect on the atrocities of the Holocaust at the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe with its somber stone slabs.
Late afternoon, we will stroll along Unter den Linden, a grand boulevard lined with important historical landmarks, and through the historic Brandenburg Gate, a symbol of German unity. Afterwards, we’ll drive along Kurfürstendamm, Berlin’s most famous shopping street known for its boutiques and cafes, to visit the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, a haunting reminder of WWII with its damaged spire preserved as a war memorial.

After breakfast, we meet our local tour guide for a day discovering the recent history of Berlin, starting with a visit of the Berlin Wall Memorial to learn about the Cold War and the division of Berlin. Walk along the East Side Gallery, where murals on the Berlin Wall tell stories of hope and freedom.
After lunch (payable locally), we will visit Checkpoint Charlie Museum. Dive into the history of the Berlin Wall at this famous checkpoint. Explore exhibits that detail escape attempts and the stark differences between East and West Berlin.
We end the afternoon with a scenic boat tour (1 hour) along the River Spree. Enjoy views of Berlin’s landmarks, such as the Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, and the government district.
This evening, we enjoy a traditional German meal at Hofbräu Berlin, featuring classic dishes such as schnitzel, bratwurst, and sauerkraut.

Overnight in Berlin.
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and meet our guide and transfer by coach to visit the stunning Charlottenburg Palace, the largest palace in Berlin. Explore its opulent rooms, and stroll through the beautiful baroque gardens.
After lunch (payable locally), we transfer by coach to the Berlin Hauptbahnhof railway station for the high speed train to Frankfurt am Main (e.g. depart Berlin 14h29 arrive Frankfurt am Main 18h44 – based on 2024 schedule and subject to change).
We check-in to the hotel for our final night in Germany then enjoy a farewell dinner in the Sachsenhausen district of Frankfurt, famous for its numerous restaurants serving the local Apfelwein.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel then, based on the airline schedule, transfer by coach to Frankfurt Airport for departure. Say goodbye to Germany, taking home lasting memories of your educational and cultural journey.
