Day 1 - Paris
Welcome to Paris , meet your coach and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon meet your guide to discover this amazing city of Paris The ancient Paris was built on 7 hills: the Mont-Souris, the Sainte-Geneviève mountain, the Butte-aux-Cailles, Mesnil-Montant, Belleville, Chaillot and the hill of Montmartre. Montmartre is the highest one, with 130 m, 222 steps, a district full of authentic charm, famous for the Sacré-Coeur Basilica and a magnificent view of Paris. From Abbesses why not take the funicular (a small cable car) to the top of Montmartre hill. Alternatively, you can climb the 222 steps leading up through the Louise Michel public garden. After visiting the basilica you can stroll around this historic village with its cobbled streets and quaint restaurants and shops .One of the most famous squares is Place du Tertre and its famous caricaturists which is a must to visit, the square is surrounded by many cafes perfect for a French café crème or hot chocolate and watch the artists at work .There are many quaint souvenir shops to browse in . Continue your panoramic overview of the city to see all the celebrated sights of this fashionable European city : including the opulent Boulevards of Paris, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, the magical and charming Notre Dame de Paris, The Opera building by Charles Garnier (setting for Phantom of the Opera) Gardens. End your day with a scenic cruise on the seine dinner and overnight at hotel. (D)
Day 2 - Paris
Breakfast at the hotel then you have a choice as to how you would like to spend your day. One can never get enough of Paris! Tres Jolie! Free time to explore the Musee du Louvre or Musee D’Orsay or even the Catacombs! Alternatively you may wish to go on an optional excursion to enter the magical and enchanting world of Disney World at Disney Land Paris meeting Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse and the rest of the Disney clan! Experience the Main Street Parade and cabaret as well as enjoying the captivating rides like Space mountain and other themed rides! Late afternoon a tranquil and serene cruise along the Seine admiring the magnificent and elegant edifice the city offers. Dinner and then your coach will take you back to the hotel. (B/D)
Day 3 - Auvergne
Your coach will take you to explore a world of volcanoes. The volcanoes of Auvergne are a unique landscape in France. The most recent eruption of these young volcanoes was only around 8,000 years ago. The most famous are the puy Mary in the Cantal and the puy de Dôme, the highest of more than 80 volcanoes waiting to be discovered in the Chaîne des Puys mountain range, a UNESCO world heritage candidate! The diversity of the environment in Auvergne means that there are also crater lakes, volcanic lakes, forests and valleys to explore. It’s hard to imagine that the calm, perfectly round, deep lakes of Auvergne sit in craters made from powerful volcanic eruptions thousands of years ago! Upon arrival, you will stop at Vulcania, theme park for exploring volcanoes and the planet Earth, is a unique place to have fun and discover the secrets of volcanism, landscapses of Auvergne and The Chaîne des Puys volcanoes, the fascinating story of volcanoes and its legends, the beauty and fragility of our planet… Dinner and overnight at hotel. Day 4 - Auvergne
After breakfast discover the Regiona Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes, which includes 5 natural regions: 1 granitic plateau, Artense (800 m) and 4 volcanic massifs: Monts Dômes (Puy de Dôme 1465 m), Monts Dore (Puy de Sancy 1886) m), Cézallier (Signal Luguet 1551 m), Cantal Mountains (lead of the Cantal 1855 m). And you can’t visit Auvergne without experiencing a cheese farm. In the area of Saint nectaire, you will enjoy the life of a real farm, and discover the the cow milking and the manufacturing of the famous saint-nectaire cheese. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (B/D)
Day 5 - Lyon
After breakfast check out and you coach will take you to Lyon, one of the largest French cities and the third most populated city in France, known for the beautiful monuments that witness its rich history. Meet your guide for a panoramic tour. The hill of Fourvière, on the west side of the city centre, is Lyon’s oldest district with its famous cathedrale, and its 287 meters. You will also discover the hill of La Croix Rousse: a hill in the city but also a district located on this same hill, which is distinguished in two elements: the slopes, and the plateau, which culminates at 254 meters. And the 3rd one, the Duchère hill, former rampart against the enemies, 265m. Your hostel in the heart of Lyon, where you will enjoy the Coffee Shop: Delicious coffee roasters, home made food, fresh and local products. The baristas are waiting for you for breakfast, lunch and dinner! A great option to taste french food in the Capital of Gastronomy. (B/D)
Day 6 - Lyon
The best way to discover Lyon is by Bike , after breakfast pick up your bikes to explore this amazing city, Lyon has been voted “World Capital of Gastronomy”. You can’t miss the Halles de Lyon, the city’s covered food market. The food here is delicious, with pride of place given to quality regional produce.
Day 7 - Departure
After breakfast check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport.
