Day 1 - Amsterdam Arrival
Welcome to the amazing city of Amsterdam where you will be met by your coach. Transfer to the city centre and meet your guide for a city tour of this magical floating city. Your guide will show you why Amsterdam has the largest historical city centre in all of Europe with 6,800 monumental houses and buildings. During your walking tour you discover Amsterdam’s well-known canals with thousands of gorgeous merchants' residences and warehouses built during the Dutch Golden Age. A stop at central square of Amsterdam called Dam Square is a must, where you will see the Royal Palace and the Netherlands National Monument. View the famous Magere Brug, the Skinny Bridge. Day 2 - Kinderdijk – The Hague – Rotterdam
After breakfast head to Kinderdijk which is a UNESCO world heritage site. You will go to the visitor centre situated in an old pumping station, watch a short film about the Kinderdijk area and then walk through the area with a visit to a Windmill from inside. You then proceed to the home of the Dutch royal family and the seat of the of the Dutch Government and the base of the majority of foreign embassies: the Hague. The Hague has some impressive galleries, The Mauritshuis houses some of the best Dutch paintings from the Golden Age yet one of the most famous attractions of the Hague is Madurodam; what makes the small country of the Netherlands so great? Day 3 - Rotterdam – Antwerp
After breakfast meet your guide for a 2-hour city tour of Rotterdam, Holland’s only city with a true skyline. Discover monuments such as the new Central Station, Europe's first skyscraper in the Old Harbour and the historical St. Lawrence Church. End your tour Experience at Rotterdam Harbour, one of the world’s largest ports. From the water, enjoy Rotterdam from your cruise and observe Europe’s largest working port. End your tour with views of the impressive S.S. Rotterdam, the famous 1950s ship-turned-hotel. You then head to Antwerp. Antwerp is a port city on Belgium’s River Scheldt, with history dating to the Middle Ages. Meet your guide and take in popular sites including the botanical gardens, Chinatown, Rubens’ house, the Old Town, the Brabo Fountain, the Cathedral of Our Lady and Lambermont Square and not to forget, the centre which, houses the centuries-old Diamond District houses thousands of diamond traders, cutters and polishers. Day 4 - Antwerp- Ghent – Bruges
After breakfast depart Antwerp and head to Ghent. a beautiful and lively university town intersected by peaceful canals medieval architecture. Wander through the historical city centre and visit the St Bavos Cathedral and the 12th century Gravensteen Castle. You then head to Bruges known as the Venice of the North. The entire city centre of Bruges is a Unesco World Heritage site. Discover the city with your guide and buildings such as the Belfry tower, the gothic City Hall, the Church Of Our Lady (with the second tallest brick tower in Europa) all these blend perfectly with the picturesque cobbled alleys and romantic canals that once were walked by rich merchants and nobles. End your tour with a visit to the brewery "Halve Maan" with his famous two-mile underground beer pipeline. Transfer to the hotel and overnight. (B)
Day 5 – Bruges – Brussels
After breakfast depart for the capital of the European Union - Brussels. Meet your guide and discover the most important sights such as Grand Place with its city hall and guild houses, also the famous European Quarter which is the home of the European Parliament, Commission and Council. Continue your tour with a visit to the famous Atomium, St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral, Jubelpark, the Mannekin Pis and the Royal Palace amongst other sights. Afternoon at leisure to stroll through the cobbled streets of the old town. Transfer to hotel and overnight (B)
Day 6 - Brussels – Luxembourg
After breakfast check out of your hotel and head to Luxembourg, the only Grand Duchy in the world and the smallest European Capital. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the smallest country in Europe. Meet your guide to discover this enchanting capital. You will pass by the Musee National d’Histoire, the Cathedrale de Notre Dame de Luxembourg, see the Art Moderne Grand – Duc. Visit the vast Bock Casemates tunnel network which encompasses a dungeon, prison, and the Archaeological Crypt, considered the city’s birthplace. Free time and then transfer back to Luxembourg hotel and overnight (B)
Day 7 – Luxembourg – Reims – Paris
This morning after breakfast head towards Paris the fashion capital of Europe. En-route, stop at the city of Reims situated in the Champagne growing region of France. Here you will visit the majestic Cathedrale Notre–Dame de Reims where for over a 1000 years French kings were crowned. This grand cathedral is known for its stained-glass windows and Gothic carved portals, including the Smiling Angel. After a short orientation tour of the city head on to Paris. Overnight at hotel (B)
Day 8 - Paris
After breakfast meet guide at your hotel and enjoy a Panoramic overview of the city to see all the celebrated sights of this fashionable European city, including: the opulent Boulevards of Paris, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe , and pass by the Grand Cathedrale of Notre Dame (recently devastated by fire) , The Opera building by Charles Garnier (setting for Phantom of the Opera). In the afternoon discover a part of Paris which is most enchanting, Montmartre. Situated in the 18th district (arrondissement) Montmartre is a district full of authentic charm, famous for the Sacré-Coeur basilica and a magnificent view of Paris. From Abbesses why not take the funicular (a small cable car) to the top of Montmartre hill. After visiting the basilica, you can stroll around this historic village with its cobbled streets and quaint restaurants and shops. It’s a must to visit one of the most famous squares, Place du Tertre, with its famous caricaturists. The square is surrounded by many cafes perfect for a French café crème or hot chocolate and watch the artists at work, otherwise there are many quaint souvenir shops to browse in. End your day with a cruise on the romantic River Seine and enjoy views of Paris city from Eiffel Tower Level 2. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight. (B)
Day 9 - Departure
After breakfast check out of the hotel and stroll along the famous Grands Boulevards to purchase any last-minute gifts before your transfer to the airport. (B)
