Mice in Italy
7 days / 6 nights

Day 1

ARRIVAL / ROME

Arrival at Rome Airport.
Meet your coach and guide and enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of the city for an introductory discovery of the most beautiful attractions known all over the world:
The Colosseum and Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, Saint Peterâ's Basilica, Castel Santâ Angelo, Major basilicas and much more.

Arrival at the hotel and welcome cocktail followed by check-in.

Traditional horse carriages will be waiting at the hotel and will transfer you to the city centre. Welcome dinner in Rome in a traditional restaurant or at an elegant and unique private venue with a breath taking view of the city.
Transfer back to the hotel by coach and overnight.

Day 2

ROME

After breakfast, meet you guide for a full-day sightseeing tour.

You will visit some of the most important attractions of the city, famous all over the world:
The Colosseum, the largest Amphitheatre ever seen, the Roman Forum.
The public square of the city which was the centre of the political, religious, social and economic life of Rome.
Piazza Venezia dominated by the huge white marble monument dedicated to the first king of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II, completed in 1911.
Also, visit the Capitol Hill, once the site of the temple dedicated to Jupiter Optimus Maximus. Today the city hall of Rome stands on the top of the hill.

After a lunch break, you will be transferred to Vatican Museums.
You will enter the Vatican through the gate in the defensive walls that surround the Vatican and partly date back to the Middle Ages.
You will cross the modern entrance hall of the museums and go upstairs to reach the panoramic terrace, overlooking part of the Vatican gardens and the dome of St.Peter's Basilica for a short introduction to the history of the Vatican.

Followed by the museum collections and the paintings in the Sistine Chapel.
The tour will take you through the rooms of the "Museo Pio Clementino", the galleries of the Candelabra, the Tapestries and the Geographical Maps.
At the end of the galleries you will descend into the Sistine Chapel, which in 1508 was commissioned by Julius II to Michelangelo who in four years created a revolutionary representation of the Genesis, which was brought back to its original splendour during 10 years of cleaning between 1980 and 1990. It is considered one of the most important works in the history of art and in particular the renaissance period.

You will leave the Chapel following the "Scala Regia", stairs designed by Gianlorenzo Bernini, to reach St Peter's Basilica and St Peter's Square.

Transfer back to the hotel to enjoy time at leisure and freshen up.
Meet your coach to be transfered to the city centre for dinner at a restaurant in Rome. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3

ROME

After breakfast, meet your guide and go for a team building activity in Rome or nearby with lunch.

You have the possibility to choose one or more among following activities.

Ipad Tresure hunt in Baroque Rome, 5 hours:
After a briefing with the staff members the game will start.
Groups are divided into teams of 8 people, each accompanied by a local guide. Guests have about 2 hours to visit as many locations as possible to complete the Treasure hunt before reaching the final point. Each team can decide its own tour through the sites of Baroque Rome such as Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.
The aim is to gain the maximum amount of points and this is achieved by visiting as many sights as possible. The team with the most points wins. The team building experience will end with a delicious Italian ice cream tasting.

Cooking Class, 5 hours:
The activity will be organized at a local restaurant or in a private venue.
Guests will have the possibility to discover how to prepare home-made pasta, pizza or a complete menu, including few famous dishes of Roman or Italian cuisine.
At the end of the lesson, guests will taste all dishes prepared during the course.

Visit Rome by Vespas or Vintage cars, 5 hours:
The activity will allow the group to discover the city Rome in an original way, on board vintage vehicles like a Fiat 500, Berlina (with driver or on self-drive) or Vespa (with driver or self-drive).
Guests will meet the vehicles at hotel or in the city centre. During the visit there will be stops in front of main attractions where an English speaking guide will give a commentary about the attractions included in the tour.

Eataly experience:
Eataly is the largest Italian marketplace in the world, comprising of a variety of restaurants, food and beverage counters, bakery, retail items and a cooking school. Eataly was founded by Oscar Farinetti, an entrepreneur formerly involved in the consumer electronics business, and collaborates with Slow Food.
It has different shops all over Italy, like in Rome, Bari, Naples, Turin... .
Guests will have the possibility to choose one or more activities inside the shop such as a cooking lesson held by a professional chef, a dinner with a cooking show during which the chef will present and prepare all the dishes you will taste, a sightseeing tour of the mall with 5 tastings of typical Italian products or a visit to a winery inside the mall with the tasting of 6 Italian wines.

Hot Air Balloon ride:
An early wake-up call is required for this activity is foreseen.
You will be transferred very early in the morning in a country-side area not far from Rome. Upon arrival you will board a Hot-Air Balloon for an unforgettable ride of 40/60 minutes through the countryside sky.
Once finished you will enjoy a drink with small snacks and be transferred back to Rome.

Ferrari ride in Rome countryside:
You will enjoy the unforgettable experience of driving the car of all cars, a Ferrari.
A coach will transfer you to Rome's hilly surroundings where Ferrari cars will wait for you to start a ride through Roman castles.

Adventure Time:
You will enjoy one of our adventurous activities in a natural park not far from Rome. Many sports and activities challenges like The Battle, the Archery, etc will wait for you.

Recycled boat - Boat race:
You will enjoy an open-air activity on a lake or at the sea nearby Rome.
You will build your own boat from non-conventional and recycled materials and then challenge the crafts of other teams in a real race.

Other activities:
We can build many other activities to match your requirements and make your stay unforgettable.

The day will end with a dinner at a local restaurant in Rome. Overnight.

Day 4

ROME / VENICE

After breakfast and check-out meet your coach at the hotel for a transfer to the railway station.

Board on the Eurostar Frecciarossa train and enjoy the trip to Venice; a drink with snacks will be served on board. Upon arrival in Venice railway station you will be transferred by private boat to the hotel. Welcome cocktail and check-in.

Meet your guide at the hotel for a panoramic sightseeing tour of Venice:
Venice is the capital of the Veneto region. It is situated across a group of 117 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by bridges. Parts of Venice are renowned for the beauty of their settings, their architecture, and artwork. The lagoon and a part of the city are listed as a World Heritage Site.
You will walk through the small streets and discover main attractions like Saint Mark’s square and Saint Mark’s Basilica, Bridge of sights, Doge Palace and Rialto Bridge.

Dinner at a restaurant in Venice and overnight in hotel.

Day 5

VENICE

After breakfast, meet your guide and start a half-day sightseeing tour to discover the Venice islands of Murano and Burano.
Travelling by private water-taxi you will reach Murano island, known for its glassmaking. While visiting a glass factory you will admire the master glass blowers at work and witness the magic of their art. You will see how quickly a blob of molten paste can be transformed into a piece of art by twisting and blowing glass with very simple tools.
You will then travel to Burano. A small island with its brightly coloured houses, where you can browse in the small shops and walk along the very narrow alleys to discover some of the enchanting corners of this island. The island famous for its handmade lace with fishing and boat building being the main source of income for the locals. After the visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on one the islands or in the city centre. Afternoon at leisure.

Before dinner you will experience a 35-minute Gondola serenade through the most romantic and characteristic canals of the city.

Day 6

VENICE / FLORENCE

After breakfast, meet your guide and enjoy one activity in Venice or nearby area:

Helicopter Ride on Venice lagoon:
You will be transferred by vaporetto to Venezia Lido, a 11-kilometre long sandbar located 30 minutes from Venice city centre. You will reach Venezia Lido Airport and board the Helicopter, a Eurocopter Ecureuil 350 (max 5 pax per ride).
You will enjoy a 10/15 ride on board of the helicopter and admire amazing panoramas on the Venice lagoon.

Sailing on Garda Lake:
Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy. It is a popular holiday location and is located in northern Italy, about half-way between Brescia and Verona and 190 km from Venice, You will be transferred by vaporetto and local coach to Torri del Benaco where you will first enjoy a presentation with a small lesson on the sail techniques, the boats and the roles of the crew.
Then you will embark the boats and start the navigation with trials of rigging and crew and sail towards the Brescia shore of the lake. Enjoy a local lunch in a local and characteristic restaurant near the lake.
After lunch embark the boats again for a regatta on a buoy route. Return back to the port for the final prize giving of the winning team.

Other activities:
There are a wide range of activities possible to suit all interests and budgets .

The day will end with a wonderful Gala dinner in one of the ancient Palaces located in Venice city centre or overlooking the Grand Canal.
Overnight in hotel.

Day 7

DEPARTURE

After breakfast and check-out, meet private boats.
Transfer to Marcopolo Airport and departure.
